Phillip's home visit was so sweet. When he teared up at the parade, I just melted. I have heard a lot of people say he is arrogant, not taking this serious at all. After last night, I think he is nervous and overwhelmed.

Did you all read/hear that Jennifer is supposedly not coming back next year? I wonder if Steven will? Randy's contract is up as well. I cant imagine them getting rid of Randy. He has been the mainstay through every season.

I know ratings have been down, the format could use a shake up. ANy ideas on how they can change things up?

I always felt Phillip was so genuine...and found Josh kinda seemed like when they would say nice things - that he expected it. I am hoping PP wins. Hey, anyone notice they keep speaking of PP not being well? Is he ill? :0( *oh, and I did hear that Jennifer may want more $ as it takes up a lot of her time - and I was thinking...isn't all the airtime on your new videos etc. worth a lot of $ and it kinda makes me mad when she does it when the show is about the kids and NOT HER...she has *made it* already. It just annoys me. Plus, her commercials play all the time during the show - feels so self-serving - I really won't miss her on the show. I LOVE her movies though...just do not care to see so much of her on the show as it makes it about her and not the actual contestants?

To shake up the show I think it would be great if the contestants always picked their own songs...then it is their own ship to sink. None of this 60's week or 80's weeks stuff. If there are folks in the audience that maybe hate 80's music...they will not enjoy an entire show of it. It would be interesting and nice if the judges could not say "American got it right...or America got it wrong" because it is a show where America is supposed to be the only factor involved in making the decision...so if it is based on America's votes...how can America get it wrong...or right ...it would just be a winner chosen due to votes, no?

I have always said to hubby,..that is it one big ADVERTISEMENT for JLo!! Hellllllllllo,..she sings her new songs, etc on AI.
She got paid 20 million for this last season!!!

It has also renewed Stevens career..as alot of young did not know him,..and the old fell in love with him again!!
