So I am planning LO's bday party.
His bday is 5/17 but we will have abig outdoor party 6/16 so we can (again!) use my in-laws nice, big backyard..
HUGE family and I will do this ONCE!! lol

So I am thinking something simple but colorful.
So far we thought, of course a medium size tent, about 3 or 4 rectangular tables and chairs..
and a table for buffet
(we are catering the same we used for our outdoor wedding party, was super efficient and delicious!!)...nothing fancy.

I am thinking orange and blue, love the color combo, no specific theme, thinking just 'colorful'...but open to fun ideas.....


Other than balloons, I can not think of anything creative, and believe me I am creative, just have NO time lately to think

I need something practical and cheap haha. IDEAS??

I like the pinwheels and the flowers. If you do the flowers I would go lower though, so people can have a conversation over them. You have to do below eye level or tall enough to see under.
Here is a cute idea of wrapping the leaves inside the vases for color.
Also, just to throw some ideas out there...
Since you are doing this outside you should check out those paper round lanterns you can hang from the tents and trees to add color throughout the yard.
Personalized M&Ms in the colors you want are cute too. You can fill up big clear bowls with them.
