You know its interesting,.. I was thinking about someday doing a right hand ring,.a band with round 4mm each stones.

I was thinking a 5 stone,..but 4 stones mean more as there are 4 of us in the family.

But you see only 5 or 7 stone bands.
Is this because odd number are more visually appealing?
What if you had a 4 stone and added nice details down the side of the shank?
Still look weird??

Anyone have pictures of 4 stone bands??

I think 4 stone bands are pretty with a bit of detail between each stone.

I think it's just the rule of odd numbers. Like in decorating, odd numbers are inexplicably more eye pleasing. There are 4 stone bands but to me they do not look 'right' while at the same time I can't think of anything that is wrong with them...just that I like 3 or 5 stone better.






Strangely, the odd number rule also applies to Star Trek movies. It is generally accepted that the only the odd ones are worth seeing...if one is inclined to watch Star Trek movies at all.

OK, here is a 4 stone ring that I think is more eye pleasing....but because it has stones set between. It still follows the odd rule but has 4 featured stones.

What if you did an ever so slightly bigger center stone in a peachy pink or some other color and then had the 4 regular stones representing the four of you on either side?

I like the odd numbers too. The one with the 4 coloured stones, but 3 small stones set in between them was really pretty!!

Well,..but what IF I wanted to see how it looked with BellaRoo, ..that wouldn't work!!

By the way,..this is if they only come out with the peachy pinks again!! Thats what I am using!!
