I promised some of you pics when I got my stone, and it came today!! It is so beautiful and so different, I LOVE it! It is a medium to vivid blue with definiet grey in. We had a couple of inspiration pics for the colour, and it is pretty much right on with these :
like this, getting darker in the tip (for pears anyway)
and this
Like all moissy, it is *so hard* to capture it accurately and the colour can shift. It looks darker in some of the pics then it ever looked in real life. It is actually quite bright inside the stone, and you can see the facets of the pear. I know others have said the moissy pear cut is not good. And I do agree it is less brilliant than some other cuts, it certainly still sparkles and has a kalidescope effect on the facets. The stone is not dead look at all, and throws a lot more colour and falashes than a sapphire of similar colour...so I doubt anyone would ever think it was a sapphire, even with the richness of the colour.

The more I look at it, the more I love it. The blue is dusky and mysterious, and despite it's saturation, is not "in your face" at all. It really needs to be seen in real life.
