I recently bought a RB 8mm moissy but once I received it, I realized that I didn't really like the cut so I returned it and ordered a 8mm OEC. Unfortunately it's going to take 8-12 weeks for me to get it. The good thing is that I'm really indecisive about the setting...so this will give me time to figure that out. First and foremost, I want to thank Kanga, because of your story I decided to contact DK. I received a few quotes on the ring with modifications and want to know....pink? Or not to pink? Lol

I want a daniel k rosebud replica. I'm trying to decide whether I want the inside of the cuppy head to have pale pink diamonds (versus white). The pink diamonds will be set with rose gold prongs. I'll post some picture in the morning...for some reason it's not working (or I don't know how). My questions are: will the pink diamonds be noticeable? If they aren't, I really don't want to pay extra for them (they are quite expensive!). Will the rosewood prongs look funny in a white gold ring?

Well, mine are noticable at some angles for sure. I am not sure how I would like white gold shank with a rose gold shank, and a warm-yellowish stone with pink melee. It may be busy...but that is just me, and it could look totally amazing.

I thought about doing something simialr when I was making mine, but my center was pink. And then I realized I don't like too much contrast. If you like contrast, you might like it. You should look at JbEG's rose gold Gabbie with pink melee, but imagine the shank white...just for colour.

I love pink though too. But I may be tempted to save my pennies for a rose gold/pink melee band instead. LOL, at least that is one of the things I am saving for.

am i terrible, or just plain blind, that i can't really tell that the diamonds are pink?!?!?!? (i watched the video too)

I would consider sapphires if they were super sparkly like diamonds...but I don't think they would be (and I've been searching everywhere for pictures)
