Hi Kanga!! I had gotten quotes from several people on here (about this ring) before I started reading the boards obsessively (I ordered a RB moissanite but it hadn't arrived yet). I kept seeing references to "BellaRoo" and I didn't know what/who that was a reference to. Somewhere along the way I discovered that it was a ring (and a kangaroo) so I started rummaging through the boards to find it. When I did find it the story was about seventy pages long (lol!) but I was curious. So after reading about the first one, and then it going missing, and then trying to find a replacement, and then DK getting the replacement to you (and the collaboration of DK and your hubby for mother's day), and the necklace and the charm (sorry, giant run-on, but that's how excited I was while reading the thread), I too had to agree that DK's heart of gold warrants additional karma.

I started this daniel k replica with DK, (received my RB and didn't like it, sent it back to get an OEC, found out it would take 12 weeks for my OEC and had to tell DK to wait), but then I found a cute little (6mm) alexandrite (so I asked him to set that one also), then I discovered the sonia b eternity on here (and asked him for that also)...NOW I found out my OEC will be here in June, so we're moving forward with the original project. I'm keeping DK very busy with my millions of random questions.

ONE of them being...pink or no pink? pink using sapphires or pink diamonds? (I still haven't decided...) feel free to post your suggestion!

I know its hard to decide about the pink...
He is working on a pink eternity band for me right now with sapphires,(3 pointers).and he is going to see how well he can match the pink with my pink moissy. I would prefer pink diamonds..for the sparkle...lol but I could never afford them.
I figure I get lots of sparkle from my ring,..so I will see how this looks.
I wish pink moissy would come in small stones,..heck,.I wish we could just get the pink back at ALL right now!!

I actually think you could use light pink sapphires,.with rose gold prongs,..and the rest diamonds!!
I think you wont miss the sparkle,.well because the rest will all be sparkly diamonds and major sparkle moissy!!

I know what you mean...I saw the video of the OEC and fell in love! I wanted a pink eternity band for my stacking collection, but that will have to wait. The problem that I have with sapphires (based on the pictures I have seen) is that they are opaque (even small ones). It's the color saturation. And I don't want something very dark/not translucent for the ring. DK said he will send me pictures of sapphires/diamonds and we will see what shade looks good in the ring. OR, the ring might end up not having any pink and the pink will have to go on a different ring.

I found a setting I want for the alexandrite, but it would be custom so I'm trying not to do it right now. I'm buying a stock tiffany style band he has in the store for it. I suppose if I don't do the pink diamonds, I can get this custom done.. lol

And yes, I think I recall you were the one who emailed DK about the sonia b?
