Hello there My BF has been posting and asking questions about Moissanite, so I figured since he was serious about "asking", then I'd better get serious about figuring things out! We want a short engagement...preferably 6 months. To have this, I know I need to have pretty much everything decided on, all in my price range, our venue...etc. I haven't picked a dress out yet, but I know what types I'm interested in. I also know that I'm not really a fan of necklaces or bracelets. SO, that leaves me with amazing earrings. But I can't afford to buy the tremendous earrings that I want- because I want them to be diamonds. I looked at Adorn.com, but they don't have any that are the size or style I'm looking for. I want show-stopper earrings to go with my show-stopper ring, since that's the only jewelry I'll be wearing. Do you guys have any suggestions? I don't WANT to do CZ, but I will as a last resort.

If you have a jeweler sometimes they will let you borrow their show pieces and take down your CC information as a deposit. My jeweler has let me borrow many times for different occasions that I've had to go to, but I always have to sign off saying that if I lose/damage it I'm going to have to pay for it.

I haven't even found any in the stores that I like. Boo But I will definitely start visiting different stores. Good idea, and thanks!

Earring (Slide) Pics


I hope this works...first time posting pictures this is the look of the earrings I want. it's about 2 inches in height, and is 7cts. Definitely my style. But this is actually a slide. I haven't seen anything this stunning (in earrings) anywhere in person.

CZ's aren't all bad! You could probably get some show stopper Ashas done! No one would think for a second they aren't diamonds. Especially since they would be up on your ears, no one will ever get a close up look at your ears.

This is the only place I know of. It's not diamonds but it is show stopping designer jewelry..

I don't believe you will be able to rent those in diamonds anywhere, sorry. Maybe Neil Lane, but at a 20K plus price tag, your talking movie star security guard to rent those.

Not to mention a huge deposit and rental fee!
