babyangelbling, Since HE is going to finance most of this project I have to respect some of his feelings. And his feeling on the stone size was the only input he got to give. He was upset about that. I hate surprises and he wants to pick the ring and all that and then surprise propose. I told him I will customize a ring and then you can propose when your ready. I mentioned a bigger center stone, but he wants it to be believable to his buddies that it could be a real diamond, so, In that aspect that was the only input he got into this ering project so I chose to respect it since I want him to finance most of it. lol and that way he no longer can make excuses why we cannot get a ring. I don't like waiting either! lol

Ms A... Just remember you have to wear that ring every day.... MAke sure you get what you want too. I made the mistake of going along with what hubby number 1 wanted to buy me, totally not what i wanted.

Hubby number 2 knows i like big and bigger... I fund it myself though :-( I have yet to find a romantic man like some if the ladies have on this forum.

I have no problem funding my own ring, but somehow my boytoy feels like it makes him less of a man if I fund it. In our relationship we giggle that I am the CFO- holder of all finances, and he is the CEO- holder of all decisions. haha. It works for us. Except he is a little unaware of the new financial decision I made. ( a.k.a.. custom ring!!)
