Wow I love that ring! It is so unique and timeless at the same time. :-) And I think you will have just a tiny gap between your wedder and ering, which is perfect in my opinion! I love a smidge of a gap so that you can see both rings, instead of one side of the ering looking a little preggers. Lol Plus, I just wanted to say that it was so sweet of your fiance to give you so much freedom with your ring and you were very good to take his opinions into accunt too. It shows that you two are definitely ready for the whole marriage thing! Best of luck to you!

 Ring Specs: 4.7 grams of 14k unplated white gold Size 6.5 6mm/1.1 ct Amora-enhanced Cushion (color "I") .7ct H VS2/SI1 round brilliant diamond sidestones No effin' joke, labelo - this is ALMOST my dream ring. I LOVE IT! My only changes would be the split shank, where you have the slightly raised section in the middle on both sides, mine would be open; and the diamonds around the bottom of the basket and the raised "wraparound" bands (where the pave ends) would be sapphires. Would you be horribly offended/annoyed/any bad feelings if I showed this to BF and explained that I would die if he had "my version" made for me when he's ready to propose? CONGRATS ON THE ENGAGEMENT!
