Oh my goodness, I got to try on a 16 inch, 18k white gold, 1.5something ctw, 15 stone diamonds by the yard necklace today, and just... wow. It was the perfect size and perfect amount of understated sparkle. Poor hubby to be doesn't know this yet, but that necklace was just bumped to the top of my to-get list. love I think I definitely want the smaller 15 stone one over the larger 7 stone necklace. Oh lord, but wouldn't it be *perfect* with Amora H&A gemstones? Could I even wait long enough for the 3mm sizes to come out?! I wonder if he'd give me "the look" if I had a moissanite one made, and then upgraded to an Amora one later.... thoughts to ponder....

I bought mine on QVC quite a few years ago. I have an 18" I think. I wear it to death. I am kicking myself for not getting a longer one and/or a white gold one.

We could make one. We would just need to know the length and how many / size Moissanite stones you would like.

The diamonds by the yard necklaces I have seen have a setting like this one. We can get in the following sizes: 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.25mm, and 4mm (in case you are interested in emailing us for pricing).

Hi Mike, do you know if the culet will prevent it from laying flat in the 3mm stone size? Or is the setting wide enough that it's a non-issue? I've seen some that poke you all the time and dont lay flat!! Thanks!!

I know I'm not Mike, but with the one I tried on that had the bezel just around the girdle, in the 3mm (approx) size the tip of the stone just baaaaaaarely came out (took me about a minute of inspecting the bezels to determine that it was so slight), I "pressed" it into my collar bone a bit to see how it felt, but it didn't feel poky. The lady just smiled when I did some jumping up and down in a circle and then looked to see how the necklace laid when I was done, and only 2 of the 15 stones flipped from that, and they were flat, even the flipped ones.

It does slightly poke out the bottom but given how Moissanites are shorter than diamonds I don't think it will be a problem (I believe Jera has a necklace like this with Ashas and its not an issue).
