Hi all!

I just ordered my first moissy ring from Moissanite Co: An unenhanced 6.5 mm round stone in a white gold SOL153 setting (the six prong trellis setting.) I'm super excited to get it! Of course I'll post pics as soon as it comes.

I currently have an Asha in a similar setting, but I really want something that I don't have to be gentle with, and that I can wear forever and ever.

Anyway, I have had a tough time finding many pics of unenhanced moissy on these boards... Anyone have any pics they'd like to share??

I'm not super worried about the color, because I think I will like a warmer stone, and I also appreciate moissy for the beautiful gem that it is, not just as a diamond simulant. My *itty bitty* point of concern is that I live in Oregon, which is notoriously CLOUDY and GREEN. I think I'll be okay, though, because I am getting a smaller size, and a RB cut.

Anywhoo, pictures, anyone???

I just posted a thread in the customer gallery of an unenhanced sol314 (6mm). I think that while it doesn't show as much in the pictures, I am getting an idea that my stone picks up the colors of its surroundings very easily. Today alone I have seen yellows, greens and pinks reflect in it. The pink was really rather cool, that happened when I was trying to take one of those cool pictures with flowers around it. I don't know if that happens to other types of stones too or not. I have a larger oval CZ that is actually a lot whiter in appearance indoors. However, outside moissy has a killer white and sparkly look. Way prettier than the CZ I have.

Oh and I also meant to say that I find the color play fun. It probably isn't for everyone, but I like it.

Iposted pics of my 9mm cushion in the gallery. The dusk pictrures where taken in the garden. The stone faces up white though. Brfore thst i hsd s 9mm RB cut and that was a great colour too!

I would think that there are a lot of unenhanced moissy's on these boards. Did you look here?

I only own un-ehanced Moissanites..since this is now on my computer...since I posted it under another thread.. here are 2 pictures.... Its a 7.5mm stone...

Laurie, beautiful ring! I love the details around the sides of it. I think it goes with the stone very well!
