Well, I for one hope that we get a custom order window. I know I know beggars shouldn't be choosers BUT rough is rough and cutting is cutting. Its just if BTD is willing to cut what we want. I personally have zero interest in a H&A so its gonna be a lllooooonnnnggggg wait for my amora! :'(

Elf I said something about that earlier in the blog, great minds think alike smile. I imagine BTD will be too busy but It would be a nice option! Since the price is predetermined, BTD could charge half or the full cost upfront to guarantee payment, that way we could purchase sizes/shapes that aren't available. I hope after everything gets situated with production, that this could be an option! It would be really cool smile

I think Less said the problem with this was that the cuts are all developed through a rather long period of R&D to make the cuts optimized for the stone and maximum brilliance. They are then all patented, as part of the Amora Gem brand, so keeping the strict cutting standards is kind of important. You can always buy a large stone and have it recut by MichaelE. Just like you could buy a diamond and have it recut if you really wanted.

Id be more than willing to buy rough and pay for a cutting service and whatever comes out, comes out!

Im not too spec happy. Hence my dislike for H&A! LOL

I would just like the option to have a larger stone than whats being offered 11x9 or 12x8, who knows maybe they will be offered later down the road..Sending my thoughts out into the universe lol!

Less, I don't know if you will post more on this later or not, but regarding the new BTD website you are making.. perhaps you could add a "pin it" function, for pinterest. That way when people want to save pics of our rings, they can pin them. It will also bring a lot of traffic to BTD I think. Sparklie pins gets repinned a lot!
