I am not sure which ring on that page you are refering to, but a lot of those look like stock settings. If so, AD will be able to get you the exact same setting and set an Asha in it with diamond sides, and it may be cheaper.

I think I may want diamond sides with an Asha center.
Not think, KNOW. You do not want anything softer than a sapphire for small accent stones on the setting, and diamond would be best. The video was *mostly* eye candy. I would definitely see if AD could source a setting you like. Have you checked out Stuller or Unique Settings to see if those sites have a ring you might be interested in? Most if not all the vendors here can get a setting from there, have diamond sides and an Asha center put in. =) Might be worth looking into. I love that website you've shown though, it has some incredible pieces.

Hey everyone! I'm new to this whole forum thing, but I've recently crossed Birkat's website in looking for an engagement ring that I like. I hear a lot of mixed reviews about them. I have fallen in love with the design of this ring http://www.birkatelyon.com/cubic-zirconia-rings/designer-inspirations/square-R7085WCan anyone tell me about their experience with Birkat and maybe post pictures of rings or jewelry you have purchased from them?? Thanks! Eva

Thanks! Eva hi Eva, I think the consensus is that the rings are very pretty, but that the center stones are sometimes poorly cut. Not always...but for some cuts for sure. As well, CZ sides for small stones are just not a good idea for a longterm wear ring... They are not durable, many jewlers will not work with them, and the cost of labour well exceeds the cost of the CZ melee. And for the price that BE charges, you could get the ring elsewhere with diamond sides. But hey, if you love it, you love it, and no one will stop you from getting it. A lot of us here are just picky about our cz and want ideal cutting. And as long as you are forewarned about the potential issues with CZ the sides, and understand the risks with that.

That's exactly what I would say. I would like to add that I once bought a set of earrings from them and the posts were very flimsy. I have recently purchased a set of cz earrings from a local jeweler and what a difference in the quality of the posts. The ones from birkatelyon.com--well I can easily bend them with my 2 hands.

Dear Olivejuice, As I have only recently become aware of this forum and its discussions about Birkat Elyon, I am sorry for the delayed reply.
I want you to know that I sincerely wish for you to be satisfied with the ring you purchased, as it is indeed one of our most popular styles. As such, we receive much positive feedback from buyers of this ring.
If the ring (any ring - even diamonds) is not properly taken care of, its true brilliance will be "hidden" by dirt, dust, grease, etc. However, this is easily corrected as I mentioned to you, by proper inspection and cleaning. I did indeed offer to do the cleaning for you, thought it is something many of our customers do themselves. And if required (though unlikely) I would replace the stone.
I still wish for you to enjoy the ring as much as you did when you first bought it, and hope you will contact me directly to help you regain your confidence in our stones.
As far as replacing the stone with one from another company, this is just not a service we or many other jewelers will do - as you noted in your post. I am sorry, but there is risk associated with this that we and most jewelers cannot take.
As far as verifying your purchase (via invoice/paperwork) this is a formality, and I am sorry that it came at the inconvenient time of your moving, but it must be done to ensure the purchase was made from us.
Please reach out to me soon!
Sincerely, Rebecca Daniel Birkat Elyon

Dear Eleanore, I have seen from your posts, that you have purchased many pieces from us in the past. If this is so, we are quite happy to have you as a customer! However, many of your posts fluctuate between admiration and condemnation which is confusing not only for us, but for readers of the forum.
We understand that jewelry buyers often try pieces from multiple companies, and in no way fault anyone for their opinions or preferences. We only hope that you will work WITH us to resolve complaints rather than posting confusing positive and negative reviews. We DO have a satisfaction guarantee!
With regards to the statement that the earring post was "flimsy" - these posts are industry standards used by most all earring vendors, and are not made by the vendor. It is not clear to us, however whether you informed us of the problem before posting here. Would you be willing email us an Invoice Number for your earring purchase (or any other purchase) so that we can look into the problems you have publicly posted about on this forum?
I will be doing my best to respond to other posts about Birkat Elyon as time permits, because we really are obsessed with quality and customer satisfaction.
Kind Regards, Rebecca Daniel Birkat Elyon
