yup, thats right. the krupps is very modern looking. to be honest, I am a big fan of milgrain too and my e-ring has a lot of milgrain on the face of the ring. and if I ever get that elusive frenchies band, it will definitely have milgrain on it too. I seem to always gravitate to the vintage looking rings. I have to try hard to veer my attention to some of the more modern cuts/looks as well, and I think the Krupps has finally caught my eye. Well, I have been dreaming about it for the last 2 weeks, so I think its going well

Victor Canera quoted me about $6,000 for the Anaya setting that has French cut sides. LM is bit more, about $8000 I think. Can't. Breathe. Call 911. When I said that you should get the expensive french cuts, I had no idea that we were talking about this kind of expensive. Who knew that when I was joking about cities, I wasn't too far off the mark? Dear heavens, my CAR cost me only $2,000 more than a Leon Mege ring. And as a bonus, the guy I bought my car from didn't tell me I'm a horrible person until I cried, like LM does to his customers.

LOL, they are VERY expensive. Glad we are on the same page now. I might do something brazen, like let DH choose. :shock: It is from him anyway, and I already highjacked part of it and picked my own stone, lol. I know he has alwys wanted to design a ring for me all on his own, but it makes me soooo sick feeling. I am soooo picky and so OCD.

I know he has alwys wanted to design a ring for me all on his own, but it makes me soooo sick feeling. I am soooo picky and so OCD. Mr. Hadley maintains that he'd throw himself off a building before he'd pick jewelry for me. He is a wise man. When he proposed, he said, "Are you wondering if I have a ring?" I said, "Did you get me one?" He said, "Hell no!" It was perfect.

Get a decorative jar. Put a pretty label on it that says "french cuts." Get a bunch of one dollar bills.
Every time you go through the ordeal of getting up, you reward yourself by putting a dollar in the jar. That will make getting up hurt less.
Be sure to post photos of your jar on your Pinterest page so that we can all pin it. haha good luck with that jcent they havent made $1 bills since 1989 i dont think theres enough left in the country for french cuts.. LMBO
