I am not trying to derail this conversation but I am curious because I have never owned a cz (or asha) before. Does this needing to clean it all the time apply to normal cz's also? What about the Avarra sapphire/ruby/emerald?

I love my asha! I clean mine once a week. There is no blue tint in my asha. I also color sensitive and can't stand moissy. Moissy is still beautiful though. I workout with my asha and it still sparkles...

I have an Asha krupps and I love it. I don't like any of the other cuts I've seen or the moissy OECs I've seen. I just don't think they have the depth of a diamond, which is what I like. It's TOTALLY personal.
I see no blue, only a steely gray.
If you let the Asha ring soak in a mix of blue dawn and water for a couple hours, you can wear it for a weekend without it being too dirty. I just went to my college reunion, in the rain, for three days, and it still looked good by the end. Not perfect, but good enough to pass under a lot of inspections. I am careful not to get it wet when I wash my hands, and do baby the ring. Granted, if I had a 3ct diamond, I would also baby it, and probably never take it out of the house.
Really, the only option is to order a stone (or stones) and see if one speaks to you. It's cheezy but true.

The cleaning issue for me was the only thing I didn't like about the Asha. Other than that, it has great depth, it's perfect and the facets are so sharp and beautiful! I only sold my Asha solitaire so that I could put the funds towards a three stone moissy.

@Sesha, I hve both a BTD ruby and sapphire and they are totally different than cz. But you aren't buying them to mimic diamonds, and the don't sparkle in the same way at all. They throw some light around, but the stones are just totally differnt. I would clean as normal. So for me, that is after maybe 5 or 6 times wearing them.

Hi everyone! I am not a frequent poster but based on my recent experience with both moissy and Asha I thought I would throw in my 2 cents for what it is worth! lol
About a year ago I was looking to get a simple round solitaire to be able to stack bands with. That was just about the time that the Mira (now Amora) moissantie came out and when I saw pics I was hooked. It is a 6.5mm round and when I saw it I fell in love. It has continued to sparkle like crazy even when very dirty. I have two little kids and don't take off my ring during the day so it gets very dirty very fast. But even so the sparkle and fire it gives off makes me a fan for life.
The only thing I don't like (besides the cut being too flat) is the size. I found out in the meantime that my personal sweetspot for rounds is 7mm ( I have small hands). So I am looking to put the new Amora gem in that size in a new solitaire when it comes out. I am just about to buy a new setting and since the Amora Gem has not come out yet I bought an Asha H&A to put in as a temp stone. The immediate difference I saw from the moissy is thatI missed the fire that the moissy puts off. But on the other hand, in Asha's favor, I fell in love with the gorgeous cut. I actually do see arrows and I love the steeper crown. I do not see any blue at all. I have yet to have an opinion on how hard/easy it is to keep clean but hope to soon. So for me each has its pluses and minuses. I hope any of that helps someone else!

Wowwww thanks for the post! I loved my amora too just doesn't do it for me color wise next to my sidestones. Hope the asha can hold me over until the amora gem!
