This came up on the bistro this morning and I snatched it right up!! I heart this stone so much and have no even seen it in person yet. This is my push present, so I won't even get to see it until August, cry but have been looking for setting inspiration all day. I am certain I want to add some sparkle, be that with a pave shank or a halo or make it a 3-stone... I just don't know. How would you set this???? I already have one peachy pink stone with pave, so it does need to look different from my cupcake, but I would love some opinions on settings.

It's beautiful, jcent! Total score on the Bistro move, there. Congrats. What type of stone is it? Maybe a morganite?

Halo? I thought you didn't like halos?

OH wow that is pretty, great push present! (My FH just shook his head when I told him what those were!) I'd personally do a nice 3 stone. I'll have to think on what kinds of side stones though, not sure pear would look good with that cut, I have a shape in mind but can't remember what it's called. But you know, August isn't too far off. That time will fly by so fast it'll make your head spin!

Such a beautiful stones! I saw that listed, and thought about it so glad that it went to you Jcent! I would set that in a rose gold three stone with bullet side stones =)

Ooh oooh that's gorgeous!! I'd love to see it in poppy's LM-inspired three stone.

Sorry, I forgot to say it was a tourmaline. I was thinking maybe a three stone with step cut traps, or bullets...I am not sure I can picture an asscher with pear sides. I would need to see that first. I have also seen some amazing asscher centers with EC sides.

Hadley, lol, generally I am not. An exception would be a pear stone as I just I love pears in halos. Or soft stones, like this, that I think need protection. I am so torn. A bezel on it's own is really not my style either... I love solitaires most, but I do want this stone to last a very long time, as it will be tied to my baby's birth. And while I am not hard on my rings, I really want to be able to give this to my DD one day.

MissCassie, tell your FH to first carry a baby in his body, get stretch marks, throw up everyday, and be a hormonal mess, and get fat just to have to push a baby out of you know where without drugs before he judges, lol.

Awesome stone, I'm all for push presents. ;-)

After my first was born, I told my husband once he passes a kidney stone without drugs we're even.

Hooray, I only like halos on pears, too. We need to stick together. And on top of that, the halo has to be tiny. I have a RHR that's a low-set pear citrine with itty bitty halo diamonds that I believe are only 1mm. Ahhh, I love it.

I adore Asschers with side traps. I was thinking about that plus bullets beyond the traps, and now I see that Turks has chimed in here, so --tada!-- there's my photo reference.
