I'm still trying to figure out the differences in stones here...which one is the most durable type of moissy to order? Or whats the differences everyone keeps throwing all the names around but I have no idea what they mean haha

From what I understood there are 4 "types":
Moissanite
Forever Brilliant - FB moissanite
Amora moissanite (also used to be called Mira)
Amora gem - AG (not yet available for sale)


All moissanite is currently made by C&C. FB is enhanced by third party under C&C. Amora moissanite is enhanced by another company. AG is a type of SiC and promises to be a beautiful stone that surpasses the previous versions of SiC crystals (not by C&C).

As to the durability, etc I will let the more experienced crowd to answer I am still learning

I want something durable and I'm still trying to decide whether to go amora in my setting or unenhanced. I don't really want a yellow/green tint but all these pictures look so white and crisp I don't see how it could get any better!

Kittyclark- I had the same issues you are having. After seeing Laurie and babyangelblings unenhanced cushions I now am confident that unenhanced isn't nearly as bad as some people are claiming. I want a 6.5mm and their cushions are 9 and 8mm. Also poppyseed on these boards has an 8mm i think unenhanced cushion and it is beautiful too. I feel the color of the unenhanced moissanite also depends on what you will have with it. My setting is a 14k white gold. I do not have any side diamonds or pave on the band so i feel unenhanced while it may show some buttery color will be just fine because it will be alone. (I am also kind of a frugal person, I'm the lady ad matching and couponing like a nut at stores) In some photos I do not see a need to enhance. I am also not color sensitive I cannot tell the difference in IHJ diamonds anyway. Just my opinion.
