Just wondering if anyone has traded their diamonds and gone moissy mad?? I'm one of those people who is feelin a little guilty about the whole diamond/blood diamond theory. Moissys seem to be the perfect solution. Please share if you have switched your bling.

I have not... Just something to consider though is that you will only get like half of what you paid... so if it is a mater of really not wanting to own diamonds, that is one thing, but you will end up selling for a pretty big loss.

I want to sell my diamond ring from my first marriage to help fun my new wedding lol. I haven't gotten around to actually doing it, but the option still sits in the back on my mind. There is no reason for a beautiful antique looking ring to sit in a box because I don't wear it. I used to wear it on my right hand until my Fiance said something about it.

I have sold diamonds in order to fund moissy purchases but I can't bring myself to sell my E-ring in order to go bigger. I may someday swap out the center stone for a larger moissy but I won't part with that particular diamond...too sentimental. All other diamonds are fair game. I will never make any significant diamond purchase ever again, and I feel liberated! Same same!

Well, I only own one diamond ring, and it will be the only one I ever own. It's a small, maybe 20 pointer in an antique setting I purchased for myself for getting into dental hygiene school. I haven't ever really considered selling it because I just don't think I'd get much for it, maybe $150-200, and I had purchased it prior to learning a lot about diamonds. I completely love that ring though, so I don't think I'd be willing to part with it for a moissanite. If I had other diamond pieces, unless there was some huge sentimental reason for me to keep them, I'd sell them at a loss to gain on my dream pieces. ^_^

I have sold diamonds to fund my moissanite addiction.
I have my tinywiny e-ring from my husband but i wear that on my right hand. I just can't do small sparkle.
I had a few diamond bits lying around and a 1ct diamond flower ring, graded a good I1, nice colour. I loved that ring but the sparkle from my moissanite just putthat ring in the shade...
I have a 3.3ct cushion moissanite star ATM.
Sometimes moissanite is actually more expensive than diamonds, mostly second hand bits but still moissanite seems to hold it's value as long as you buy it for a good fair price...
