I am wearing a silk crepe, blush pink, very simple short wedding dress with a jewel neckline. Was going back and forth about embellishing her a little but I think I just want to keep her plain and simple. The fabric is gorgeous. The pattern is very easy Vouge and I cannot wait to see her finished (about this time next year.) We are thinking destination wedding to the Bahamas next December. I can't think of a better way to spend two weeks in that most brutal of Ohio months than someplace warm and sunny.

Oooooo, let me post! It's a 100% raw silk faux two piece ball gown, and I purchased it more than two years before I was engaged because I KNEW it was THE dress for me! I get to wear this beauty on July 21, 2012!!!! Here are pictures:

I want to elope for this marriage. And not even somewhere like vegas! I just want to elope somewhere thats not home. lol. I am a vneck tshirt, push up bra, jeans, and flip flop girl, and if i elope thats exactly what I plan to wear. Or maybe a simple summer dress and flip flops with a few family and friends. I love your dresses girls! I love weddings. They almost always make me cry.
