LOL! I'm quite excited to see what he does, too! There is NO way I could just turn my DH loose to design or even choose a sparklie for me. Way too much stress for both of us. LOL! Mind, I suspect your DH has had a lot more schoolin' on sparklies than mine has. My eyes glaze over at car-talk from DH, and his, I'm certain, glaze over at sparklie talk.

My DH actually really likes this set, but in pink.

I love, love, love the idea of putting the tourmaline into a pink setting like the one above. It would be delicious!

I really like the idea too!! I know it would be VERY pink, but that is ok, lol. I do love pink. And it was DH's idea so it makes me love it more. Matching sapphire stones for the melee to the tourmaline would be the hardest part I think, but I am sure it could be done.

Love the asscher & love push presents, Lol...we soooo deserve it for all we go through with pregnancy! I'm telling DH & claiming those for carrying & delivering my 3 little boys! Lol

DH feels sorry for me, and gave me my stone now, lol. I still can't get great pics, the stone is a jerk to photograph, but have been thinking about settings still. And I don't know what is wrong with me, but I have swallowed the halo koolaid and am leaning more towards a halo now.





The stone is really more of a pale pink, like in these pics, than peachy pink. So I think white metal with white melee...

I love that stone, Jcent! It's so pretty, and your "pink collection" is amazing!

Oh, and for what it's worth - I don't usually gravitate towards halos either, but I think that stone would look heavenly in one - I'm picturing rose gold and champagne diamonds.
