Well, my fiance is a tattoo artist. I have 7 tattoos and my nose is pierced. He's done all of my tattoos. I dislike being tattooed now. I didn't mind it at first, but the more I get tattooed, the more I hate it. I love the outcome, but the process sucks. My fiance tends to linger on mine, because he wants them to be perfect. He has to look at them everyday. Haha!
I'll post pics of the bigger pieces.
Black & gray rose on my left wrist. Rose is the flower for the month of June. I was born in June.

A swallow. This one was because I love birds. I could watch them for hours. When I retire, I swear I am going to be a bird watching. It looks pinkish in the white parts here, because this was taken the day after it was done.

This one was done after I got divorced. My fiance and I were friends for years before we dated. Anyhow, I had seen a photo of a skull with flowers that Kat Von D had done. I sent it to my fiance (then friend) and said I liked it. He replied "I can do better than that". So I said show me. I only had two small tattoos before this piece, so this was a big deal. I told him if he drew something awesome, I would let him tattoo it on me. So he accepted the challenge. In the process, he asked what kind of flowers I wanted. I told him I read somewhere that tiger lilies mean "I dare you to love me". He thought the meaning was really cool and went at it. People would come into his shop, see the drawing and ask him if they could get it as a tattoo. He'd refuse and offer to draw them something else. So this one inspired a few others he did. It's on the inside of my left arm. I think this was the suckiest for pain.

This is the last one I had done. It's a gemini rose. Because, well I'm a gemini.

I also have stars on my right foot to represent my kids. A butterfly on my left ankle (first one I got), so cliche. Lastly, I have my fiance's initials tattooed on my left hand.
