I know I am a little late responding but I have an Amora Moissy from Moissanite Co and a pair of Amora Studs. I have a 30X magnification loupe and I had trouble locating the inscription at first. I went outside and looked through my loupe, not in direct sunlight but in the shade and tilted it on an angle so I could view the girdle. It took a while since it is so tiny but after a few tries, I could see it on my Cushion cut Amora. I did the same thing when I received my studs and the inscription was there. Here is a link to show you where to look: http://www.jewelry-secrets.com/Diamonds/...scriptions.htmlGood luck and I hope that everything works out for you.

Thanks for that info, jewelryaddict. I will definitely scope the ring when I get it back. I mailed it today so it'll be there on Tuesday. I hope to have an answer next week. Have I mentioned again how grateful how cut and dry this will be due to the amora inscription?!
One thing I thought of today is that when I sent DK my stone originally, I asked him to grade it. Honestly I was only concerned about what he thought the color is but he toldme clarity, etc. anyhow, he said my stone faces up like a 2.25 carat. So that means he measured it when he received it. And like I said yesterday, when I had it measured yesterday, it was 7.99mm. I saw so much of that purple hue today on the way to ship it out that I am very certain it is not moissanite. We shall find out next week. I am thankful to be working with an honest man and feel confident this will all be resolved.

OH Little_Bit, I am hoping for the best, and that you just have a very, very nice stone. If mistakes happened, I am sure that they will be fixed asap.

[color:#CC0000][/color] When I sent him my stone he told me it it weighed 2.92 cts but faces up like a 3.5 cts. Just thought I would put that out there. Sometimes the measurements don't match the way the stone faces up.

I would only trust the double refraction that can be seen with the naked eye.

So all of the people who say they can spot a moissy because of the double refraction or that they can see it AT ALL are just full of hooey? Hmmm..... I don't hang out of WB much but I've seen those posters... "Oh, my friend got a moissy ring and I could tell right away that it wasn't a diamond by the double refraction."
