How does an ASHA compare to an Amora? Tx.

Well, here is a quick and dirty low down:

Asha:
-CZ, optical layer then coated in amorphous diamond
-Hardness of about 9 to 9.1 on Mohs scale
-Hearts and Arrows cut (round)
-Ideal cut
-F color, some cuts come in H color

Amora:
-Silicon carbide gemstone, new to the market
-Hardness of 9.25 on mohs scale (second hardest gemstone on the planet)
-Hearts and Arrows cut (round)
-Hearts and Arrows cushion, ideal cut princess, and first silicon carbide gem to come in step cuts
- F color (does not need any enhancement)

are you asking about the upcoming Amora gem? or are you asking about the current Amora enhanced Moissanites?

Oh, yup, that would be a very good thing to know! Amora Gema nd Amora treated Moissanite are two very different animals.

Hey sonoma- I just wanted to make sure that you were talking about Amora moissanite which is currently out as opposed to the Amora gem which is not yet released.

The sparkle and fire of the Amora is definitely intense. Reading about the Amora online I learned that it has better optics than diamond. However, the Asha sparkles exactly like a diamond. The hearts and arrows pattern of the Asha is amazing! The standard moissy has a wonderful, subtle, buttery hue. The warmth is lovely. Each one is beautiful, but in distinct and totally different ways.
