Ooh I like it! And I agree with what you and the others have said too, that it'll come in handy when you want to wear a band w/o your engagement ring. I think it's really neat to have a matching band with your future husband. I hope you get your eternity band sooner than later too!

Yes, it really reminds me of the mokume-gane patterns from places like Krikawa Jewelers , which some day I hope to have them make my FH's "forever" wedding band, and of course one for me as well (only skinnier!)

I love it! I'm biased though, I have a titanium band that pretty much matches my FI's that will be my wedding ring...I can bling it up with some CZ eternities though and thankfully it fits with my engagement ring.

The wedding band I posted in the OP of this thread is the wedding band, they obviously cannot be worn together, but some day I might have a band made to sit flush with the pear. I found one that was almost perfect at a jewelry store, but in 14k white gold and diamonds small enough to fit on a 1.8mm band and only going 1/2 way around was $750! Not sure, but I think that's a wee bit overpriced, so I'm casually shopping around to see if I can't get a tiny, blingy band of the same style for less. Or I might just have a plain band of the same width made to fit. We'll see. I'm not in a huge hurry to get one I can wear with it though.
