How many carats is a 12X10? What is the next size up? I love that stone! I'm getting ideas...

Because her diamond was an emerald cut that was more like an Asscher cut, it's very difficult to guesstimate the mm size of it. I've looked all over for the measurements, and all I've ever found was the carat weight. I can ask our cutter if they've ever done a replica of her diamond, because if they have they may have the measurements.

That lovely stone by my calculations (I weighed the stone and divided by 1.7) is a little over 9 carats diamond weight equivalent.
The next size up is what ever size you request, these are cut to order.
What size would Eleanore require???
Wink Thanks for the answer Wink. I don't think that I can get away with a 9 carat stone. People might laugh at me. Besides which, I have 3 projects to complete when I get my stones from you. I may order this stone to just look at every day in the privacy of my room. Or--better still--if you can come up with a price for an Elizabeth Taylor size stone for Gemcat above---I would love to buy that to drool over every single day of my life.

Dear Wink,
I love this stone. I was wondering if you can tell me which has more facets and is more sparkly--the asscher or the angel cut ring? Now, the stupid question-- Can you cut an asscher with angel cut facets? Also, I don't know why Elizabeth Taylor's ring is referred to as an Asscher. It doesn't look absolutely square like an asscher. But, maybe I'm wrong?

According to our cutter, the Angel/Krupp is pretty much an elongated Asscher cut.
