I'm bummed for you Is DK willing to financially make-up for his mistake? I hope you aren't left to buy another Amora OEC (as I know, first hand, those can get pretty pricey!), and that he is willing to make-up for the mistake..

Hi Kat. You're so sweet. I'm actually okay with the situation now and have it perspective... Finally! It is just a ring and David is going to fix the problem one way or another so I'm not going to worry anymore. There is only one person we think might have gotten it by accident and he said that is our only lead. We shall find out next week. If she has it, we are going to swap back, and if not, he will buy me a new amora oec. So either way this will be rectified soon. I can't wait to get my ring back!! Thank you for your concern and kindness. I look forward to reporting a happy ending next week!

I think we were all confident of this from the start. David Klass has a reputation here for being a stand-up extra-mile guy, and that didn't come to him by default or entitlement because he's The Jeweler and the one in charge. He earned it. It was easy for the rest of us to feel confident from the start because it wasn't our ring. You didn't have that luxury of objectivity. I'm so happy you're feeling better now. These little rocks hold so much emotion, don't they? Just think, your next big dose of emotion will be elation when the proper and permanent version is on your finger. We're looking forward to the posting of the happy ending and, of course, pictures!

I'm glad everything is going to work out for you! Making a mistake comes with the territory of being human but the way one goes about correcting the mistake speaks of their true character. I'm glad he is going above and beyond to rectify this matter and based on the glowing reviews on this board, I am not surprised that he is. +1

Update!!! Great news! DK was able to locate my stone and by the end of next week, I shall have my ring back with my oec amora moissy!!! Woo Hoo!!!!! I am so giddy over this. Lol So apparently iwannasparkletoo had my stone in her ring and I had her Asha. I just want to say, publicly, thank you to iwannasparkletoo for being honest and willing to switch back stones since you had no obligation to do so since this error was due to no fault of your own. I really, really appreciate that. Kanga said it way earlier in the thread that if a sparkle sister had my stone, she would be honest and return it and that is exactly what happened. . Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!! And thank you to DK for making things right too. I was so afraid he'd think I was trying to scam him but he believed me and all is well. I'm so glad this issue is finally resolved and I can finally get my ring back.

so it was the switch you thought it was, right? or maybe I remembered wrong? I'm so glad you got it sorted out! It was! . David said I am a great detective. Lol. If we didn't have these forums, I never would have seen the other ring and made the connection. Edited for grammar. I hate autocorrect!
