Please describe how your Asha has held up over time or even better, post your pictures and videos!

I can see that they're lovely - but I am wondering how long I can expect an Asha to continue looking great with normal care/cleaning. I am not especially hard on jewelry, but would want to wear mine every day.

Hello Kanilea, and welcome to the forums!

You are going to find that question has a huge array of answers depending on who you ask. For some, they need to replace their Asha every year, many do it every 2-3, and some have had their stones for 4+ with nary a scratch. I've had mine for a year now, and she looks just as amazing as the day I got her. She gets worn every day, but I take her off for sleeping, showering, dishes, basically anything where I'm going to get my hands good and dirty. laugh

Hey Kanilea! I personally do not own an Asha (yet) but I wanted to let you know that there are tons of threads on this topic (with pictures) already on the forum! If you go to the Asha Forum and scroll through a few pages you will find threads. Also, you can do a quick google search at the top of this page to find more results (search Asha durability, Asha longevity, how long does asha last, or something similar).

The answers to this question seem to vary a lot and here are a few threads that I found! I hope this helps you. Sorry for the short response - I'm on my way out the door!

my oldest Asha - a 6.5mm OEC in AD's Celeste setting - that i wear at least 3-4 days a week - is just as blemish-free as it was the day i got it.

i've worn the ring when i helped a friend move, hung cabinets, carried / loaded drywall, and all sorts of other things i should've taken the ring off while doing... it's a sturdy ring, with no pave, and i believe that particular setting offers a good bit of protection for the stone as well.

i have other Ashas that i rotate and wear, too - and they're all still absolutely perfect.
and i'm not exactly gentle on my jewelry.

I wore my asha 9mm round for about 4 years without a scratch, had it placed into a cocktail setting, and wore it for about another 9 months before I sold it, and it was still in perfect condition.

I have only had mine since December but it still looks perfect. From other threads I've read, it just depends on the type of setting, how often you wear it, whether you're hard on rings or not etc. My stone is set very low in the setting with no pave and 6 prongs so I feel that it's much more protected than say in a tiffany setting.

Well I've had mine since May (has it been that long?), and to be honest.... it's STILL fabulous. It is a very high setting solitaire, and I've worn it constantly since I've gotten it (well, aside from showering and gym, that is).

Of course, I am realistic and I know that someday my Asha will show wear and tear. But it has lasted more than a month, and it has withstood our move to a new place. So hoping for the best. ^_^
