I am making an antique diamond 5 stone ring that will be my 30th birthday present and a symbol of me losing weight and having a healthy life style. smile

I have the center diamond already, the two middle ones are being paid off right now and the two smaller ones are going to be viewed and then paid for if I like them. I assume that I will. smile The smallest ones are from Old World Diamonds and the other three are from Jbeg.

Stats:
Center diamond - elongated ACC EGL scan pending to N-O color, VS2 clarity.
Measures 6.34 x 5.49 x 4.64
Medium Blue fluorescence.

Middle stones - ACC 4.45 x 4.47 x 3.50 and
4.60 x 4.56 x 3.60 about K in color and VS2. One has strong blue fluorescence.

Smallest stones - Each ACC about 3.4-3.5mm (don't have exact measurements yet) J/SI1

Here is a picture of my inspiration ring. I will probably do a plain dome rounded band without diamond melee. I want to do light pink melee in the halo and hope that I can afford it! I am fine with lower grading of the melee diamonds and some closer to my pink diamond band would be fine with me. smile I am thinking 14k unplated white gold for the setting and 10k rose gold for the halo, as 10k is more pink then 14k.

I just wrote David Klass about having this setting made. I told him to write whenever he has a chance as I know he is still on vacation and will be busy. I am excited to talk to him about this though!! smile I will most likely wear this as a right hand ring but maybe sometimes a left hand ring! smile

That is an excellent way to celebrate your birthday, and maintaining a healthier lifestyle, I think everyone should get some kind of reward/treat for such a huge accomplishment! Congratulations!

Your ring is going to be a stunning work of art, and a beautiful reminder to you of how far you've come! ^_^

This is Ginger-licious!!! I'm so happy you're taking care of yourself as a reward for taking care of yourself. It's perfect.

Thanks so much ladies!!! laugh I don't turn 30 until December but I wanted to get a head start. lol

I have a goal of losing a large amount of weight by December and I have been on my journey for a bit now. Its not moving as fast as I would like but its going and I know that long term weight loss is supposed to be best slower going, so that is good. Plus its also about my health and staying healthy and eating good natural foods.

I forgot to say that the center stone is 1.25ct. That's the largest diamond I have ever owned! smile I wish I would have known that antique diamonds can be more affordable then new precision cut diamonds when I got engaged. I would have totally gone that way instead!
