well I failed my second glucose test. I'm not really surprised since everyone in my family has type 2 diabetes except me and my father.

I'm kind of upset but more about the finger pricking, if i can do alternate site testing i'll be okay. I generally eat pretty healthy, we don't do processed foods or trans fats and mostly eat good carbs anyway so diet changes should be minimal. Ive never been one with a major sweet tooth, id rather have another serving of a yummy side dish than dessert. I will however miss my root beer floats this summer. Last summer I think i had one everyday!
