OK like I said, I cook for a hobbie so I have tons & tons of pictures and recipes with them. I don't want to be a post hog, but I thought maybe you guys might enjoy some? I have them on my FB and my friends fire me up with posts to put more lol Here goes: Mussels Marinara: Recipe - 2 2lb bags of mussels 2 large cans of crushed tomatoes 1 large can tomato sauce One Extra large onion sliced 10 garlic cloves, chopped red pepper flakes Salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano
Fill your sink with cold water, add salt, put mussels in to soak. While the gravy is cooking come back to the mussels and clean them. Any that are open or cracked toss. (you will get sick if you eat them - guaranteed) Cook the onion & garlic until translucent. Add the cans of tomatoes. Add 1/2 can water Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano Bring to a boil, reduce, cover and let simmer 25 minutes. Add mussels on top, cover and let sit for 15-25 minutes.

I'm making individual chicken pot pies and mashed potatoes! Can you say carbscarbscarbs?? haha Sometimes you just gotta have it!! I don't have any pictures of them but I use this easy recipe: http://backtothecuttingboard.com/dinner/individual-chicken-pot-pies/If I don't feel like making the dough I'll just use regular store bought Pillsbury (or other) biscuit dough!
