Wow! Just catching up since it's been FOREVER since I've posted. Congrats to all the new and soon to be mamas!

Our 2nd daughter is due to arrive Nov. 8th, 2012. One of the reasons I haven't been active on the boards much. Trying to avoid temptation to buy things for myself! Plus, I've been busy knitting up a storm of baby sweaters and booties, LOL!

I've reached the point where sleeping is so uncomfortable September can't get here soon enough.

Tell me about it. And it is hot here now, and that makes it even worse. I am 35w6d tomorrow, so one more week of bedrest and then I will be walking as much as possible to get things going.

Awww. It will be over soon, promise! I remember with my first, the day I came home from the hospital I was taking a shower while DH was in the other room with her. Even though she was only a room away, it felt like miles because I was so used to her kicking in my belly. Made me teary eyed. This time I'm trying to enjoy every little kick and moment and have to remind myself of how much I missed it after DD was born. Even through all the wicked heartburn, sore hips and back pain. The last few weeks are so hard, but soooo worth it.

Oh Jcent, it was in the 100's here last week, unusual this early in the summer.

I was in the hospital or 8 hours yesterday. Woke up at 3:00am with terrible back pain, my mom insisted I go to the ER. They took me up to labor and delivery, stuck me with a needle 6 times for an IV, ran blood and urine tests and found that I have a severe UTI and was dehydrated. They gave me two rounds of fluids and two rounds of antibiotics before sending me home with 4 medications. But my day was over yet. I still had to go to my 30 wk appt with OB/GYN. Luckily the doctor at the ER sent me with paper work to give her to inform her of what had happened earlier. She told me that the pain killer they prescribed me is a narcotic, I was fuming! I do not take medication when I'm pregnant, just my prenatals, I was even hesitant to take Prevacid even tho dr told me it was ok, so to find out they'd given me a narcotic really pissed me off. Out of the 4 they gave me, my dr told me only to take 1, the antibiotic for the infection. But on a bright note we did set a date for me to be induced, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Sorry about the UTI. But way better than preterm labour!! When I went to emerg at 31 weeks, I assumed I did have a UTI...but nope, I was in labour, lol. I would be fuming about the narcotics as well!! WOW, I cannot believe they were so blase about that.

Why are they making a date to induce you so early? You may go into labour when the time comes, lol.

I'm being induced at 39 wks. Since my husband is away at BCT/AIT until Dec, the only person I have here to help with my son is my mom. I really wanted to be induced again so that I have everything scheduled as far as care for my son while I'm at the hospital. My doctor agreed because I have been induced before, and because my blood pressure has been on the high side.
