I love my Asha earrings but I know people will question how I afforded them so I don't wear them. They are 4 prongs, white gold, 1.5ctw, round. I have worn them 3 times, tops.

If you love them, wear them and to heck with what people think.

Life is short and you can't please everyone so you might as well please yourself wink

Now go put on those earrings! smile

You can afford them because they are Asha silly! Who cares if people assume they are diamond and wonder how you could afford them? If you love them, wear them! If they make you unhappy because they are not diamond, then perhaps you should let them go to someone who will enjoy them.

But, like Blingaholic said, you can't please everyone, so enjoy what you like and don't let anyone else's opinion get you down!

I have the same pair of earrings! I could buy them if I saved but... I wear mine all the time and don't care if someone thought to question it! The size is not over the top!!! I actually want a larger pair now!!! Wear the earrings proudly!

I have different settings but same ct weight. I don't wear them much either. Only for parties/dinners etc... I feel conscious wearing them because I would be stupid to spend that kind of money on diamond ones...although I can afford them.

I wear diamonique studs daily- I want to say they're at least a carat each- and although anyone that knows me knows I could never afford them as real, I don't know, maybe others think they are? I'd be the first to point out to someone that the are in fact, not real ( I do it all of the time with my sim rings)- and I don't care- I just think they're so pretty and classic. If I see someone with pretty earrings like we're talking about, honestly the first thing I think is that they have killer taste, and if I'm NOT wearing mine, I wish that I was too :-)

To heck with that other people think! If you enjoy them, that is all that matters!

And I agree with Brookie1978, the first thing I would think is "she has some awesome taste!" Second thing I would think is, "boy am I jealous!"

I agree with what others have said, don't let what others think keep you from wearing something that makes you feel happy. But FWIW, CZ earrings seem more "acceptable" to people anyway. While I never really think people are wearing sims for erings, I generally do assume that the massive studs people are wearing are sims, lol.

Huge CZ earrings are all the rage for girls around my age (at least in this area) and while I was going through dental hygiene school most of the girls wore these huge honking CZ studs (we weren't allowed to wear anything that dangled), and two girls had diamonds studs, one .5cttw and one 1cttw, and me, with my 1.33cttw moissy studs. I was asked quite often "if they were real" and I said "Absolutely, they are really gorgeous moissanite studs!" I know of at least two young ladies I ignited a love of moissy in . wink

I agree..wear them!

I have Berricle cz studs 1.5cttw and I really don't care if people think they are real or not. I am not particularly trying to pass them as diamonds, I just love the sparkle.

I think you can wear what you like with earings smile

This exactly. If I saw large stones in someone's ears I'd automatically assume they were fake if I even took the time to think about it. And I doubt most people would care. I have a couple pairs of cz studs that I don't think twice about wearing because I assume no one would think they're real.

I'm quite late to this, but I still hope it gets to you if you're still questioning wearing your earrings. If you aren't comfortable saying they are Asha, you could always say you inherited them or found a great deal online.

I was searing earrings as I'm about to buy a pair myself. My first Asha purchase!

also would people assume they are diamonds? i have to say even though I have pretty well to do friends i don't assume they wear diamond earrings daily unless they tell me , i just assume it's Swarovski or cz earrings. I wouldn't think twice about someone's earrings to be honest.

I'm kind of weird about keeping what I wear on my hands in a believable size but I've never really given that consideration to earrings. I wear several different cz stud sizes and the largest are over a carat a piece. No one would believe that they are real in my circle but I don't really care. I wonder why I don't mind people thinking my earrings are fake but I would mind if they thought my rings were fake?! I'll be pondering that for awhile today. I truly have never thought about it before!
