Hi I am contemplating whether to upgarde the side stones to natural diamond or to leave it with asha stones.
Anyone have experience with the asha stones, and have you had your ring for a while, where you can provide insight as to the durability of it. For example has your stone become cloudy, or is it not as beautiful as you once had it (it has become dull etc)
Also, can some explain the warranty to be a little better, if the stone goes dull you can get a new one?

If you do some searches here on Asha durability, you'll find that there's a wide span of experiences. No one is sure why, but some people have them last for years without trouble, even without being careful. Others develop small scratches and/or chips on the top surface after only months, even though they're very careful.
I was in the latter group and my Asha didn't hold up for the long haul even though I babied it and took it off for things like washing dishes. Boooo. So I would be one to tell you to upgrade to diamond side stones.
Sorry for the conflicting information. I wish we could all give you a solid guideline on longevity, but there just doesn't seem to be any reason or time line that can be pinned down.

We have been selling Asha rings since 2009 and to date we have made 1000's. Our largest customer base are American customers, and we include prepaid Jewelers Mutual insurance for orders shipped within the US. We have done maybe 6 - 7 replacement claims. Therefore in our experience your experience is more the exception than the rule.
