Let me first say, I've made previous requests to LM and he's always been very sweet about replying and answering my questions even though I've never gone through with a project. The first time I contacted him (because I was naive!) was when I first got engaged (I was 19? or 20? and we absolutely COULD NOT afford LM). He was very nice about pointing me in the right direction and very flattered I had a picture folder filled with his wonderful droolworthy creations. Last week, I sent off another request so I'm hoping that this time we'll figure something out. He emailed me requesting that I call him on Monday to "clarify" my request because he wasn't sure what I meant. I hope we're not starting on the wrong foot already! (I thought of this because of the other post I read on PS about all the bad bad bad LM experiences).

I really doubt that he'd start out being as incredibly rude as he was to the PS lady. I think he'd reached his breaking point with her and lost it. There is no way he could do the business that he does if he treated everyone in that manner!

Tigger, you're probably right. Again, he's always been super sweet- I talked to him many many years ago, and he wasn't impatient at all. I'm just also super intimidated by him! lol

TOTALLY!!!! He scares me just by some of the horror stories I've read.... that's why when I wanted Dreamy I contacted Wink and had him recreate her...

If I win the lottery I'll buy and LM ring, however, since I love sims I don't think I could work with him as I've heard he won't touch sims... which in all fairness is totally his choice. I can understand why he might get annoyed at some people when they mimic his work so closely or change his actual work. I know several rings that have been created here as *custom originals* are inspired by his work (sometimes so much so that I can't event tell the difference) and I think it kind of bugs him a bit because by coping someones *one of a kind* ring it sort of cheapens the original. But if you are going to post pictures on the internet of something amazing people are going to copy it.. I think thats just the way the world is and really always has been. *shrug*

Leon works with Asha and has also set moissanite...so he works with sims. Asha is actually in his drop down list of key stones when you request an online quote from him. I don't know how he feels about regular CZ though. I am sure it will be fine essaince

Is it? Honestly I've never looked into it but I thought I remembered someone complaining on the board about him not setting sims. Perhaps I have him confused with someone else.
