Cherokee those look gorgeous on you, and your hair is beautiful! I need to get myself some of those nifty backs, I never knew those existed.

I'm thinking when I get studs I might go for 7mm, but I'll have to take some different sizes for a test run. For reference, I'll wear a 9mm e-ring.

i mix it up my studs are 1.5ctw (.75 each), and my bezel moissy pendant is only .5. my diamond solitaire is a 1.5ct radiant cut, but sometimes i will also wear my 9mm moissy. soon i will have my 8.5mm kashmir asccher set in a bezel with total face up of 12mm; so i have varied carat weights on at any given time, but like you i prefer to have the e-ring take center stage also for "believability" i think a mix of modest and blingy works better than everything huge. +1 I wear a fairly modest sized ring compared to a lot of ladies on these boards, but it's still big for where I live. I have a 1.5ct in a halo and my moissy studs are 1.5ctw. I also prefer my e-ring to take centre stage with a reasonable amount of sparkle on my ears. Having said that..CherokeeGirl, your studs look amazing!

I think it is more about what looks good on your earlobes then what size ring you are wearing. KWIM? I agree Ginger, I've seen some people with tiny lobes trying to wear bigger studs and the look awful sagging and such, where the same size on some one else would look nice. Just my 2 cents +1 I currently wear 1ctw Amora OEC studs and I don't think I can go bigger (much as I want to.) 1.75ctw studs drooped forward and didn't look nice at all. When the AG comes out, I will be upgrading to 1.5ct ring (unless, of course, I get a case of shrinkage before the stone even comes to market LOL,) my current 1ct Amora RB will be bezel set into a pendant and I will wear them together.
