In the future you should be wary of ebay sellers who don't have a return policy, that's a huge deal for me, yes you're covered by eBay protection but that can be time consuming and hard to prove.

I don't understand any legitimate reason why they wouldn't accept returns on this items as it is obviously not custom made... "Due to the nature of the item returns will not be accepted..." WTH? What exactly about the nature of this item makes it nonreturnable??

Maybe the seller is afraid a buyer will replace the *fake* or *questionable* stone with a *real* stone? ;0)

I agree with the return policy thing. If the item is over $100, I generally won't buy if there is no return policy. I have asked sellers if I can return when it states no return, most of the time they have said yes.

I buy from no return sellers as that is the nature of an auction - and only where items are not as described or turn out fake...I will ask to return item and if seller won't accept (like that time I bought that fake mossy! and they refused to believe the many jewelers I had test the stone - not to mention you ladies looking at a photo and stating that just from the photo you could tell it wasn't mossy)...then I file a not as described case through PayPal. Sometimes that is a pain - but eventually I got my $ back. (Had to get and pay for an appraisal! and submit it electronically via fax to Ebay!) 50.00 MORE bucks (that I did NOT get returned to me by the way). :0( I guess I just made a case to not buy from "no return" folks...hahahahhaa

Thank you to all of you.

After a few discussion, seller agreed to give me full refund.
Her explanation was,,,,

"The center stone is not certified by C&C, and that is the reason we could priced so low."

???? Anyway, I got money back so I am a happy camper!!

OH MY GOODNESS...C&C is the ONLY company that produces MOISSANITE! what a crock! oh well...you got your bucks...as soon as you get your money back...I would report that to Ebay - they should not be allowed to take advantage of buyers like that....also, it is very difficult to test pave stones...they are so tiny...I wonder how many have been fooled :0( I am so happy you got your money back!!!!! hugs

p.s. have you seen the listings for simulated moissanite...that really gets my goat...yet saying "like new" is a bad thing? (that was what I said previously got one of my listings ended.)

Glad you got your money back reikoweller.... I think they need all their listings took down...

... that's a shame CherokeeGirl that you can't be honest and say like new but they will let someone twist the truth to sell pieces that isn't worth anything close to what they are selling it for...

Roo - I guess they get more money from the other sellers...so they let theirs stay up? I had that happen a couple of times for similar reasons. I remember saying to hubby "what does Like-New say to you?" and he knew what it meant...so I don't know. OH, one time I put TOUS style...as it was a dead ringer for that TOUS bear but wasn't a TOUS bear but we know what TOUS bears look like, right? and I got a nasty email from someone saying that folks like me shouldn't be allowed to sell! OH MY GOSH...broke my heart! I never did resell that piece...I sent it to a lady that recycles silver and makes jewelry and sells on Esty to support the kittys she rehabs. (many of you sent her stones) OH, and when I received that lovely but fake moissanite ring ...the burden of proof was on ME...I thought about it now and thought Ebay should have told seller "if you won't let her send it back for refund...then she will get an appraisal....if appraisal comes back that this is fake...Seller is responsible for both refund and appraisal fees!" (like in court) :0( I'm still mad about that! :0) can you tell? hahhahaha
