This is interesting. My sister bought me a handbag at the Outlet store in the Ozarks. I went to the mall out here in So Cal, and saw the exact bag in the Coach window. I went in and same fabric, no differences etc. Strange.

In regards to Dooney, my mom bought me the popular bag with the colorful "DB" letters on it with short handles. I never carried it, and it turned a yellow color. She called Dooney, they had her send it back and they sent me a brand new bag.

That is strange especially because even if it was the same, retailers usually never have the same merch in the outlets and retail stores at the exact same time. What would be the point of buying it at the coach store when you can get it for half at the outlet? Especially here in so cal when we have 4 coach outlets fairly close to us.

Maybe your sister paid full price but didn't want you to know??

Wow I am surprised to hear this. I have bought so many purses/accessories here at the local Coach outlet and I have never had a quality or "wearing" issue. If they are "lesser quality" I also find it hard to believe that any of these bags would be so obvious "not as good" like when people say they can tell a fake a mile away. I always get compliments on my bags and like I said I have never had them fall apart, or wear down or need to be replaced.

Doxie, i don't think I could spot it outside the store unless I felt the bag. The fabric and leather idk.. Just donut feel the same to me.... Weird I know...
