PC, I am sorry your mom acted that. My mother and I are not close, so her opinion is never asked around here, but if I were talking to someone I was close to about something like this, that would really hurt my feelings too. Perhaps those are her true opinions, or maybe her strong views on it stem from something else... I am not sure. But that seems like a very strong reaction regarding both options. Either way though, it is not her choice and her opinion doesn't really matter. Just because she is your mother does not mean she has to agree with or approve of your choices. And this purchase is an important one to you. So I think give it some more time and thought, and do what is feasible and makes you feel happy. You have a lot going on in your life, and that is overwhelming enough, so this decision, whichever way you decide, should make you happy.

So, they wouldn't even give you CZ studs left to you in a will... That is unbelievable.

Buy the Asha, tell her it's a diamond, then tell her she can't call you anymore because you had to give up your phone to pay for the diamond.

I think at this point that is what I would do... purchase the asha and just let everyone think it was a diamond... that's what I was meaning with what I was saying about my Hubbies Aunt... for all these years everyone thought his Grandmothers ring was a diamond and no one ever questioned it... and it was just a regular CZ... a good one at that... but still a CZ... and all of us thought there were thousands and thousands of dollars being wore...

I hate to keep commenting on this thread if you're feeling hurt PC. But if I were you I'd do nothing until you see the winkcz that's on it's way to you. If you're in love with it THEN go for the sim set. If you see it and don't fall in love then I'd hold off.

I knew the minute I saw my asha I didn't love it. Others feel the exact opposite way and fall in love the minute they see it. Figure out which camp you're in before making any big decisions. In my mind winkcz's are close to ashas (I actually prefer wink's stones.)

Just a mistake. Melissa asked for my new address, but she thinks that Winks computer automatically reverted back to the old address.

CRUD!!!! That sucks PC... but I've had the samething happen to me before ... The Tulip set Asscher ring I had from Winks was sent to the wrong address first time it was shipped...
