remember that the sapphires were going to be cut by the same robot which will be cutting the Amora gem .... and a part that was needed only just came in last week. so you've got to figure that the robot is still being set up and calibrated, etc, and it must be in good working order for the Amora gem before it can begin to be set up for sapphires. Well, okay, that makes sense. Thanks Dana!

Long time looker here, if things go according to plan, what are the chances we will be able to get hold of 1 Amora Gem before the end of 2012?
My future fiancee (if she says yes!) deserves only the best, aka AMORA GEM!

Long time looker here, if things go according to plan, what are the chances we will be able to get hold of 1 Amora Gem before the end of 2012?

ME As far as I know last we heard production will start in the fall. Now it just depends on the US patent issues if you live here, which we will find out by the first week in August at the latest. If you live in another country that is not on the banned list you can get one once production starts. So by the end of the year if you live in the US? Possibly, we'll find out soon enough.

Well, this Friday and the next I'm going to try to not be super glued to the computer, as I know I'm not the only one anxiously awaiting to hear any news on whether or not C&C is going to try and appeal the patent invalidation. A huge part of me hopes they realize that according to patent law, they don't have a case, but the other part of me thinks they're just waiting until the last day to get every single day of delay they can.

And like Less said last week, even if they don't do it this week they can walk it over early next week and BTD wouldn't get the information until the first week in August. So really, we have another week to wait even if no news today. Hopefully I won't have a stress-induced heart attack by then. LOL
