A chicken and celery braise, finished off with some sour cream and black pepper. Served with steamed rice and some steamed greens. Remarkable easy, it's Sunday and I don't like to exert myself!

Chicken alfredo and fresh green beans.
Alfredo sauce isn't all that great for you but its super easy!

I started with a recipe close to this one and now just modify it to my liking.

To cut calories I only use 2 tablespoons of butter, light cream cheese and 1% milk. I add somewhere around 1/2 tablespoon of parsley at the very end. Often I sub white pepper for the black and add minced garlic in with the butter instead of using powdered. If I only have hard grated cheese I will use about 1/3 cup.

Since I live with picky eaters who don't like fruits and vegies I often throw in some cooked zucchini, fresh grape tomatoes, etc.

We just had the grocery store salad bar for dinner...very lazy today and didn't cook. But I just ate a Chunks O Fruti frozen fruit bar from Sam's Club for dessert and it is SO @#%****@#% good! lol! I've never tried them before but they are amazing. So glad we bought a box!
