I've been a lurker for a while. I was trying to decide between a sim or a used real ering. I'm back to thinking a simulated diamond is the way to go for me.

But now the questions!!! First of all I'm thinking I'd like a halo setting. They are so pretty! Has anyone purchased the BTD halo setting with a colourless ASHA? How do you like it?

Should I consider Moissanite?

Another question, sort of off topic... I have a vintage Amethyst set in gold necklace and ring that I never wear. I'm thinking I'd like to sell and put the funds torwards my ering. Is that something I can get appraised at a regular jewelers? I'm just asking this here because you all sure seem to be knowledgable in the whole bling category!!

Any other advice is appreciated!

for your pieces you are wanting to sell you could go to a local jewelry store and they could help you price your pieces or if they can appraise them in store they could send them to do so if you think it would be best too...

Okay, my fiancé likes the Asha Romance with natural side stones. I've checked the gallery and I don't see any added there. Anyone have this ring? What do you think of it?
