I sent my friend a pic of the actress/inspiration and some others and she says she loves it and is totally doable, well, I know that because she has done before.
But I like her because she WILL tell me straight to my face:
'NO, this will not look good!" etc, in fact I was afraid to ask her this time and show her the inspiration pic because I thought she would say no, but nope, she said "I love it, let's do it"

(and is free because I made a mobile for her baby niece )

Well then that's awesome BG....

Hi BrazilianGirl - I'm like you - every so often I go dark and then a few years later I lighten up, then I go dark . . .

Change is good! You've done it before, so you know how it looks and you know what's involved in the upkeep. In a little while (months? years?) you might get tired of lighter coloured hair and want to be dark again and I say go for that when the time comes!

My natural colour is a mousy brown (well, mostly gray LOL) but right now I'm in a dark phase and it's coloured dark brown. In a little while I know I will want to change and start to lighten up with highlights and eventually all of the highlights start to give an overall lighter tone.

As far as the dark goes, I prefer the Mexico natural color over the dark, dark color. Though that may just be the pictures because you are wearing white (or a very light color) in all of the other pictures and light colored clothes do not photograph well. Be sure to wear medium to dark colored clothes for your photoshoot tomorrow. LOL!!!

BG, Too bad you don't like any reddish tint because I think this chestnut brown would be oh so gorgeous on you.

Thanks for posting all these pics. The color and style of your hair in the second picture is my favorite of these four. You have such thick hair that it lays beautifully with long layers. I usually like mommy bobs (that's what I have always called the style in the first pic) but on you I much prefer longer hair. I think the new color with highlights is going to look great as long as it isn't ashy.
