Haha! He was so funny- he brought home flowers and wine Sunday evening, I started to suspect something- and when he came to sit next to me on the couch , I thought OMG... Because he'd rather pull out his fingernails than watch TLC with me. Haha

I didn't even give the poor man a chance to put it on my finger- I wasn't sure if he was going to- so after a minute I snatched it out and put it on! That's almost worse than if he would've just told me I had a package :-)

I'm amazed at how perfect it is. Honestly. It's palladium 6.5 and I'm probably closer to a 6 but I like it a little loose. The sidestones are diamonds. It's just amazing. It's heavy too! Its so blingy and seems huge to me- I told my mom i felt like a Kardashian! Haha

I'm a nurse and just switched to an ICU... Decided after day 1 that I was going to wear it on a chain- there's so much gloving and hand sanitizing in there- it can't be good for it.

I mean my snatching it out and not letting him do his thing was almost worse than if he would've just left it on the table- which he would never do. Just Re-read that... Was making fun of myself, not him ;-)

PS: you're right, that thing looks HUGE on you (in a great way)! And we have very similar fingers in that I got my ring in a 6.25 but am closer to a 6. I don't like the ring chub. But you have thinner hands than I, so I imagine that wasn't your problem.

Kat- I get all claustrophic if my rings are too tight- (what I think jewelers probably refer to as "fitting:)- I may or may not need some sort of sizing device in the winter, but I want to keep it this size.

Lorrissey- girl you are too funny. I have no idea what band I'll get. I figure I have quite awhile to figure it out (in NO hurry) but of course I'm going to obsess about it with ya'll until we pick something :-)

And Jasmine- I googled EVERY possible photo I could of emerald halos, and wanted to find a pic of the Asha Diamonds Nova (which this is) (the moissanite page gives it a different name, but same parent company)- so I wanted to post as much detail as possible because I know how important it was to me in my search.

I obviously can't say enough how much I love AshaDiamonds/MoissaniteCo- they have been BEYOND accommodating with me- their customer service is excellent and this ring is just beyond what I could've hoped for. It's amazing. And the stone... sigh. It's just perfect.

My closest friends knew that I was getting a sim, but for the most part I just say thank you and go with it. I went to get some watch batteries changed at a nice local jewelry store yesterday- and I had initially gone in there looking at settings- and the same wonderful lady who helped me commented on my ring and how pretty it was. I told her the center stone was an Asha (because I'm proud of what smart consumers we all are) and she leans in and says to me, "And why not? it's breathtaking, no one will ever know and you guys saved yourselves a ton." That made me smile.

Thanks everyone!! AND... So excited, I just found out that when the time comes, AD can switch out my stone for the closest size Amora Gem, 8.3 x 6.5, and it will fit!!! So so so so so happy. I love this asha, and happy that there's the option to upgrade the stone down the road :-) No one can tell its not a diamond - my closest friends know- but I am just blown away with how pretty this is.

So I'm looking through weddingbee because of course I still love to look at rings, and when reading a post about tiffany legacy's, I see someone has posted a pic of my ring! The girl who posted has the same setting but a radiant moissanite ( of course I think it's beautiful), and she was posting some of hers and then the last is one of my ring! She nicely said that it wasn't hers, but same style with an asha...

I don't know why... and I know I have the thing posted ALL over here... but I just don't like it being on weddingbee, especially when I didn't do it. Am I weird? I messaged the girl who posted and asked her if she wouldn't mind taking it down- I feel bad doing it but literally my heart stopped when I saw it. It's the first pic taken of my ring- I took it and somehow it's on that site? Agghh!

I know that's what you get for being all over a message board, and it was obviously done in a nice way- its just that I didn't do it- and it's not this site. If someone here reposted my ring I'd be flattered and have no problem with it- we are all a community and its kind of understood to be ok... but I haven't even posted it on weddingbee. I've never posted PERIOD on weddingbee.

I just need to get over it and go to bed and hope she takes it down.

I agree, it is weird. But these are the dangers of the internet nowadays , it is so easy to find information it's not even hard anymore.

my stuff was posted over too...it didn't bother me, and now I post there sometimes. But hopefully she will take it down for you; I think most people would honour the request. She may not be able too though...the edit may get disabled after a period of time, and there, you upload to the site, not photobucket, and then the site owns it. You may have to pm a mod.

It's a tricky thing though...once you post your pics, they are kinda fair game. I learned that the hard way too.

It's probably on that site, because the ring shows up in a Google search. The only thing you can do to prevent that is not post your photos on a public forum.
