I really try to avoid vomiting right now, and just the thought of castor oil or MofM = I ate curry for dinner though, just in case.

I am getting DH to message my acupressure points to help with labour. I am not sure that will do anything, but it feels nice.

hahaha, my first was a little fast too, 4 hours, so DH is worried I may end up pushing in the car as we have a 2 hour drive to the birth center.

I guess the "idea" behind the castor oil is that the intestines surround the uterus and the cramping of them irritates the uterus enough to start contractions. I didn't really care how or why they say it could help I was done.

Sex does NOT work for me. Not in 4 pregnancies...trust me, we tried alot with all of them. Walking din't work, just made my me feel like my pelvic bone was about to crack in half. I bowled for 4 hours straight (kids wanted to go, I thought why not?)

With the castor oil I took a dose, spent a few minutes in the restroom and started contracting. Went in a few hours later at 5 cm. NO other stomach issues after that. It really was great, for me.

The combo I took -milk of magnesia and castor oil was not that bad. Hubby & I went out for a nice dinner, came home took the mixture, then went to bed. Woke up about midnight to use the restroom, walked back to the bed and my water broke. I showered, got ready and called the doctor. Not bad at all

I"m still hanging in, sleep is becoming more elusive. last night i was up at 3. of course this means i'm starving by 5 but can't eat b/c of the GD diet and testing timing. ugh.

I"m really becoming miserable. How do so many women work till the last day? Im thinking i want to start my maternity leave now! It is so hard to make it through the full work day, by 3pm i'm a lump physically and mentally I want to crawl into a hole and cry.
but then i have to go home and make dinner and then stay up for at least 2 hours so i can test again.
wah! yeah i'm gripy today, 4 hours of sleep will do that...

Hang in there Sim!! Some people love being pregnant... they bounce around in heels until they pop out that cute little bump they have been sporting. I on the other hand, hate the whole thing and am just not good at it. My body does not do well...I am sick sick sick, and my body hurts.

Today is my actual due date... I am not going to complain because at 31 weeks, when I started to go into preterm labour, I was terrified and just wanted baby to stay in until 40. I am trying really hard to remember that. So I made it, and I am being grateful, lol. But whining in my head...
