Glad you decided on the no milgrain, (I am personally a huge fan, but for this ring I think an "all sparkle" look would be best). CADS just always get me so excited, it's like it's being made but the journey has just begun!

Thanks everyone - I can't wait to see it finished! This week I am going to decide between an OEC Amora Moissy and an Asha RB color H (they're coming this week.)

I'm an OEC fan myself. and OEC moissy's are absolutely stunning. I'm biased as I'm not an RB fan at all.

DK is asking if I want the side diamonds set in a U cut or French pave style.

DK says: "Both styles are very secure and show a lot of diamond with very little metal. The U prong style can fit slightly larger stones, and you can see more of them from the side. The French Pave gives you a flatter look. Let me know which you prefer?"

I am leaning a bit towards the U cut for a bit more bling, but wonder if it would be as comfortable as the French pave looks to be.

Do you prefer one or the other? (and why?)

Here it is before the center stone! He should be getting that in the mail today. Delicate claws will be carved when it goes in...

I couldn't decide between u cut or French pave, so his setter did u cuts with a French pave look.

(halfway through the process) "Hey, David - how much would you charge me to add a small sapphire inside the ring? ...oh, nothing? You're amazing."
