I have used Bare Escentuals mineral foundation forever. Probably more than 10 yrs. Every once in a while I would try something different, but always go back.

For a few months before Christmas I had tried Prestige Wet/Dry foundation and really liked it. I was frustrated with the cost of BE.

Got a Sephora gift card from Santa, bought a new BE foundation. After using it for a week, I hate how it looks on my skin. It looks awful! I am so sad. I will be returning the BE to Sephora

Have you gals had this happen? You use something faithfully, then all the sudden it is just not working anymore?

hmm maybe its bc u liked the prestige better?? ive had a fav foundation then tried something new (sold out of my usual), then went back to my old one and found i didnt like it as much as the new one...

I started using BE in 2000 and believe it has changed over time as well. I actually became somewhat allergic to it around 2008, so I don't use it anymore. I LOVE Merle Norman's loose mineral makeup now. Not nearly as much "tin man" shine.

BE is full of stuff that a lot of people are very allergic or sensitive to.

my skin isn't the least bit sensitive, but something in the BE stuff makes me itch like crazy.

I hadn't realized until recently that Leslie Blodgett sold Bare Minerals. The product has changed and the amount of product you get is less than half compared to before.

I no longer use this foundation. I am currently using Everday Minerals. I love that you can get 7samples in a kit for $.01! It allows you to try different shades to find the perfect match.
