I am trying to decide between Asha pear and WinkCZ barion pear. The ring is a antique halo with 5 prongs holding the centre.
Access to the bottom of the stone is limited. If Asha stays cleaner longer it seems like a good choice. After looking at WinkCZ pear I realized that if it has a similar French tip cut to Asha, I am not really a fan of it. Barion pear looks lovely to me. Since I was not considering anything other than Asha before, I am a little confused what would be more durable and less maintenance.
I've had a white sapphire that I had to clean daily and I didn't enjoy that. I currently have a moissanite that is super easy to maintain since it only needs a weekly clean. I just don't like the moissanite moody shade changes in certain lighting. Apparently I am colour sensitive and prefer more clear stones.
Would love to hear your input!
