So my fiancée and I decided on the 6mm cushion cut Asha Winston setting from ashadiamonds.com and now I am having serious doubt as to whether we chose the right size or if I should have gone for the 6.5mm.
Can you please post pictures of your 6mm halo cushion cuts???
I would love to see how it scales to size on different size hands. I wear a size 4 so my concern was not to get something too big and have it look ridiculous on my tiny fingers, however I do like a bit of "flash" as I am a NY girl, but nothing over the top.
Any pictures or words of advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also how long did you wait to receive your ring orders? I'm going crazy checking the order status every morning, afternoon, and night.... Lol. I dream about it!!!

I asked a similar question a few days ago-- I'm planning on getting the winston halo too, and have am a size 4.25-- I eventually decided to go with the 6.5mm, but I think the 6mm would look lovely too. The halo really does make it look much larger, especially with small fingers.
Please post pics when you get yours-- I would LOVE to see!!

I've got a Grace halo with a 5.6mm diamond in it, with a size 6.5-7 finger and found it to be plenty of finger coverage.  Same finger, with a 2ct round moissy:  The halo makes a big impact with a small stone.

Here is my old ering. 6mm Asha cushion size 5 finger Halo was about 10mm

Beautiful Rings! Thanks ladies! My ring is on the fed ex truck, so hopefully all my worries will subside once it arrives. You're right though, the halo makes all the difference. I contacted ashadiamonds.com and they measured the ring at 9mm total. That's a great amount of finger coverage!
