Ooh, well done! I did finish my first project and have moved onto something much larger. It was the one and only larger kit I could find in the craft store, so I picked it up. I am enjoying it, but it's going to take a long time. This is what I'm working on right now: "Sorrento Hotel" And this is the first project I did: "Home" Are you working on anything right now?

I like the Sorrento Hotel one. Reminds me of a cross stitch my mom did a few years ago. I did this this one summer. And I finished this one a few weeks ago. Currently I'm working on this one. I really want to do this one, but that probably won't happen until next summer when I have time to spend hours a day on it.

Aww those are too cute! And that geisha one is going to be beautiful, but definitely a lot of work. I really want to do this one because it reminds me of Ireland, where my DH is from. I'm hoping I can get this one done in time for my friend's birthday in December. I'll probably still be working on Sorrento Hotel by then though!

That's a good reason to do that one! My BF is German. His dad is 100% German, and was raised by his German immigrant parents, so he raised my BF in a very German household. When we get married, I'm planning on doing a Lord's Pray sampler cross stitch (like girls used back in the 1700s) in German. Then beneath it, I want to cross stitch a street from a German town, so hopefully it'll look sort of like the the one you want to do, just German looking.

I cross-stitch, too. My grandmother taught me when she visited from Romania one summer. I'm currently working on my third seashell-themed project. :P It's a great way to relieve stress while adding beautiful decoration to a house or apartment.
