Is it true that halos are much more popular among us women who use jewelry forums than you see in everyday life? I see so many gorgeous beautiful halos online and rarely any everyday out and about.. actually.. I would dare to say I have never seen one! What's your thought?

i don't think so. i think they're just hugely popular in general, at least around here. i think out of the last 25 or so brand new engagement rings i've seen, all but one was a halo.

not a cluster (like Diana's ring)... but a halo.

and everywhere i go, the rings i see, are all halos. usually princess cuts.

... i actually had a waitress say to me a few months ago that she didn't know diamonds came in any shape except square.

Oh wow!!!!! Maybe it's just where I currently live - I mainly only see solitaires and clusters!

All I ever see is halos from anyone who is newly engaged! Some people who was engaged longer ago have three stones or solitaires. But all newly engaged (2010-current) have halos! But I still love them nonetheless!

I only know one person with a halo, but then again, I don't know a lot of people my age that are married yet. And its funny Dana mentioned the princess halo because thats what it is!

I know at least one of my friends has an RB with a halo and she got hers 5 years ago.
